Library Procedures
- Students may borrow library materials for one week. A new item may be checked out when the previous item is returned. Renewals are allowed for books, magazines and audiobooks, but not for videos.
- Students in grades 2 -5 have the opportunity to choose a video once a month.
- The library is a place where students have freedom to choose any book that is interesting to them. While students are encouraged to choose “just right” books, sometimes a book that interests them is a little easier or harder. That’s OK! If you are concerned that your child is consistently choosing books that are too easy or too hard, send me a note and I’ll encourage them to make a more appropriate choice.
